Just give a brief explanation on one or two studs/duds from your club in the first half of the fantasy season. You can add in if it was a trade/pick up/drop etc... My dynasty league hockey league did this, and we have the advantage here of having a forum site so lets use that to our advantage. It would be nice if every manager posted in this thread.

I'll post mine later but I will say that I've been pleasantly surprised with Ellis thus far. I really wasn't 100% sure I was getting a stud when I traded Tyrus Thomas for him but he's been all around dominate this year. I'm also happy to see David Lee's all around game improving slightly over last seasons. He's getting more opportunities to score and his defense has also seen improvements. As for his rebounding game it's business as usual.

obviously I would say this season Jennings has been a stud FA pickup. although he is slumping in december. Channing Frye has been very serviceable which is suprising as another FA. As for duds.....thanks computer for drafting my Turkoglu and Ginobili! Two monumental DUDS....oh and throw Marvin Williams on that list!!! those three puke sacks have really handcuffed my team.

STUDS: Steve Nash continues to do it at age 35,as my only original keeper left on my roster. Maybe his best season to date after the first half of the season (averaging 18 ppg. /11 ast. shooting a ridic. 54% from the field and 94% from the charity stripe- both current career high totals! This guy is like the Gretzky of the NBA. Put him with a few stiffs, and make them into stars. Carl Landry- the sixth man of the year front runner. 26 mins. a game, cmon Ric Edelman give the guy some more minutes early. Shooting a crazy 57% from the field and 86% from the line for a PF. ,I'll take it. Averaging 17 pts. and 7 reb. with those ratio's is close to keeper level,if he can raise the rebound numbers slightly. Marc Gasol- Pau who 134th yahoo rank,26th currently I could not put Landry on here without Gasol (or vice versa). Shedding a whole leprechaun in the off-season (20 to 30 ibs.),this guy is a wrecking ball beside Zac Randolph in Memphis. Fantasy #'s are in comparison to a David Lee type of last season (15 pts. 10 reb. on 61%! shooting). If he can improve on the 1.4 blocks per game, stud is written all over this guy. DUDS:-Nate Robinson Being benched for 14 game stretch this season has its' downfalls for sure. In in his first start back from the benching he went off for 41 pts. 8 assists and 6 rebounds-off the BENCH if I'm not mistaken . If that can continue in the second half of the season,BUST label will quickly be pulled from his name here. -T.J. Ford I thought he was primed for a big year with Granger and company. Jim O' Brien has thought otherwise,by continousily stripping away minutes from the inconsisent PG's play. Earl Watson has now been starting over Ford on a semi regular basis, which left me no choice but to drop him from my competitive roster. Ford averaging just 10 ppg. and 4 ast. on the season is not going to cut it with my deep backcourt of : Nash,T.Parker,Carter,Udrih,Robinson etc...

Studs:
Dirk Nowitzki: Dirk doing his thing... You know... Putting up career high's in every single category...
Chauncey Billups: Battling some minor injuries.. No BIGGIE... Just get him healthy for the playoffs....
Gilbert Arenas: You gotta love how is g factor just went through the roof in the last few weeks... Putting up career high's in AST.... And is starting to shoot the rock better....
Rudy Gay: The kid was a great add at the end of the deadline.... Putting up career high's all across the board... Gotta love it..
Duds:
Andrei Kirilenko: AK47 is currently coming off the bench but that will change....
Overall solid team... And the addition of Jameer Nelson coming Monday will only make it better

If you want G. ,look no further than Nate coming off a 14 game benching and putting down 40!

BTW,it's not a fun thing to have a gun pointed at you in a locker room. I have had that experience in Grade 10 ,via a crazy Arab guy walking around the room pointing the gun at each kid who remained in the room. A kid in the hood has a lot less to lose than say multimillionare athletes like Arenas/Crittenon.

A most recent addition omri casspi!!! Not sure why he was dropped? I was about to pick him up a couple weeks back and was beaten to the punch. Total stud and worthy of dropping the oft DUD jameer nelson. Avg 18 and 8 since starting!

I know I had a claim in for him ,and I bet OC. did too.

Yeah I probably dropped Casspi prematurely but with Thompson, Evans, Udrih, and when Martin returns I figured someone's #s have to suffer a bit. I think Jameer at this point is a safer bet though.

Jameer is no safe bet. He is injury prone and really my team doesn't need what he brings besides decent fg%. I have lebron, Jennings, iggy, Westbrook, manu, and turkoglu who all put up better pg numbers than him. His numbers are below or comparible to several other pgs rotting on fa wire. Bank it...nelson will b back on the il list by late jan. I don't see casspi falling away aton. He is a hustle player and they always get min. His scoring may go down a bit.

The only reason why I said Jameer is a safer bet though is because he'll be locked in as a starter as long as he's healthy but your right about his durability pretty much throwing the idea of him being a safe bet out the window.

All the kid has to do is produce in the playoffs.. Same with Gil, and Chauncey... Take all the time you want coming back from injury

If nelson isn't hurt during the playoffs. He will make. A worthwhile addition to any team if healthy. Unfortunately getting hurt on my deep small ball team killed him. Since Chi is too modest I will throw cdr out there as a stud! I was going to pick him up preseason and dragged my feet and lost out on him by minutes. Definately a decent pickup!
