I don't think it was a huge surprise Holliday was traded and I don't even follow baseball much and I knew it was coming. I think Fatkid even had a feeling this would go down eventually thus the reason why he was willing to trade Holliday to LL.

What were the reasons why he was dealt right now? I don't follow the Rockies/NL. really close as some others.

Greg smith a future stud... i don`t think so. I owned this guy all of last year and only because my team was shit. 88MPH fastball and nothing else special this guy is not a stud and won`t be one. Also the A`s will probabley just trade holliday at the deadline next year and get some more prospects.

A young low salary guy who going to be a solid #2-3 guy in that rotation.. You gotta remember that its the NL West now.. For Gonzalez..He's been a highly known prospect his whole career always in the top 20 range.. Baseball America has him as the #1 prospect on the A's And Street will be a good trading piece.. Overall, I thought it was a pretty good trade for the Rox..

The NL west is kinda like AA minor league ball so smith might be a stud there but in the AL he sucked.

He'll be pitching for Colorado so he could get some wins although losing Holliday was pretty much like losing half your offense and pitching for Colorado is never good for your ERA. I do although like Gonzalez in Colorado and just like Fatkid said he's been on the top of prospect rankings for awhile now so the kid has potential.
