YES!!! I hope this is no rumor and only TRUTH! If so, Igoudala will become an absolute fantasy BEAST. His stats were through the roof when Iverson was out and there is no reason to think they cant be there again when he is the man in philly. In my opinion the sixers should have done this a long time ago....traded AI for 1st rnd pick or good PG and F. Igoudala is more than capable of putting up 21pt 8reb 5ast 2stl a night and PHI could spread the ball around more and stop being so 1 dimensional.

Igoudala's #s would most likely go up but it would also depend on who and what they trade AI for because I would think that it would either take another big name veteran or at least a young stud in waiting for his opportunity to shine to get the deal done...
I just hope they start giving Korver more minutes cuz the guy has proven he can score as well when given those minutes...

Who are the rumoured clubs Everyone under the CAP? Will we find out in the next 48 hrs.,his destination... Ed Snider, the owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, said Friday night that the team is working to accomodate Allen Iverson on his desire to be traded. The team originally said that Iverson was sent home and would miss Friday and Saturday due to back problems, but Philly's superstar has since repudiated that claim and said that he hopes to be traded to Minnesota. The night began with mere speculation that Iverson would be moved, but it's now a near certainty. President Billy King refused to comment on the situation; a trade should be consumated in the near future. The fantasy fallout is uncertain given that a destination has not yet been determined, but Iverson's owners may have to deal with a string of inactive games from the superstar.

I hear Ricky Davis and Randy Foye for Iverson. Davis would be fucked on my team because they really like Willie Green and Iguodala on PHI, Foye wouldnt do much this year either. Iversons numbers would go down and Garnett would suffer some too, I only see Green, Igoudala, and maybe Foye if he plays PG as benefiting.

I don't see Garnett suffering if this trade were to go down I see his value going up and Iverson would only lose points because he would finally have someone to dish it too and wouldn't have to shoot so damn much... It remains to be seen though if Iguodala is ready to take over on the offensive side because he didn't do much there last night just business as usual with his rebounds and D... I still think that Korver deserves a starting job and as soon as Green is at 100% he should be the teams new leading scorer cuz the kid can flat out shoot...

Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor denied rumors that Minnesota was close to acquiring Allen Iverson in a trade.
A deal appears unlikely at this time, mostly because of financial reasons. "No trade," Taylor said. "It isn't that I don't like him. Just money-wise, it wouldn't work out." Sixers chairman Ed Snider has said that Iverson has "probably" played his last game with the Sixers, but who knows were the Answer will wind up at this time. Denver and Boston - among others - have also been heavily rumored.

In 14 games this trade will be a joke. Melo and Iverson dont seem like a good mesh both need 25+ shots a game and JR Smith is comanding outside shots at this point. I really dont see this deal working well for DEN in the long run because AI is a me first player and really only an avg. PG.
