He is having his surgery today or tommorrow and from everything I read, he will at least be out 4-6 weeks. Not sure who will take over, but my guess is Eddie House, or Marcus Williams.

Celtics now... I knew that MaZe was worried about RJ's ankle so he just threw him into the deal and everyone thought its fine. But RJ really has 0 value, and after his ankle surgery will not be keeper value.

i still wouldnt go that far as to say he has no keeper value, he will be back and playing before this year is done, ecspecially since NJ is in prime position to make a splash in the weak eastern conf. RJ will be back to help. Not to mention we keep 4 now so RJ would be a decent 4th keeper, not saying he is a great 4th keeper but there are teams like Celtics who have only 3-4 options as keepers and there are teams like ours that have 5-7 keeper options.

Not sure how I missed this whole post but I have to ask Franchise do you really take me for a shady character cuz thats what it sounds like you were trying to say here? I knew he had an ankle injury but I had no idea it was this bad I mean the guy was still playing solid basketball when I offered him in the trade and in that thread you accused me of shopping him around but I'm not sure where you had got that from since the only one at the time I remembered showing some interest in him was Pride... If I were a shady character then I wouldn't be trying to protect Celtics from losing Paul when I have the best chance overall of getting him if he does miss his deadline now would I? I guess in the end you can think whatever you want but the fact is the trade was voted on and allowed so I guess it wasn't so bad after all...

Maze im not calling you a shady character. If i were in your position at the time i would do the exact same thing.
Every single thing i read about Jefferson at the time was saying his ankle surgery was inevitable and that he wanted to do it as early as possible, so he could maybe come back during the playoffs for NJ.
Sure, you can pass yourself off as the nice guy... trying to protect Celtics from keeping Paul. The fact is though, even if he dropped him and you tried to get him, we just wouldnt allow it. It would throw off the league balance too much, and ruin Celtics team for the next decade probably. (This would also be the second time you grabbed a top 15 player from Celtics for free this season.)
BTW... the trade was terrible, its not even funny. I dont care that it was voted through, its just plain terrible.

I wouldn't take Paul anyways like I said the only way I would is if you guys didnt allow him to be protected because I would be damned if you got him with your 2nd overall waiver priority or anyone else for that matter... As for the trade if it was so bad then it should have been vetoed you guys had that choice to make and some vetoed but more allowed this isn't my fault and I wasn't the one who offered this trade Celtics offered it to me and I would have been a frigging idiot not to jump on it... Usually its me getting ripped off in trades but you guys don't have a problem with that...

Game and myself were ready to make an executive decision to just veto the trade ourselves, but we knew if we did that, then you would get really angry (cant blame you), and it could cause a lot more damage to the league then if it just went through. Im sure you remember year 1-2 of the baseball league when people didnt like the way the authority was running things and were ready to quit, you even did yourself with your buddy rolling thunder, we just didnt want a situation like that agian. Im also not suprised that Celtics offered the trade, hes shown that at times, his knowledge of fantasy basketball is questionable.
