Did TOR actually give up a 1st rnd pick also? I realize that they needed to give the knicks a reason to take all that salary but that is ridiculous I dont care if they did have 2 picks in rnd one

I dont know about you but 1st rnd picks are pretty important unless you draft like an asshole and waste them. I personally dont like the move purely from a bball point, from a fiscal point it makes sense. Dont try to feed me that bull about them getting all these 2nd rnd picks There are very few players chosen in 2nd rnd that make it let alone become studs! I cant really give this deal purely to the knicks because once again Isaiah takes on salary of a worthless old vet. Isaiah really is an idiot, but I wouldnt expect anything less from the man who almost single handedly bankrupted the CBL!!!!

Game stop trying to console yourself for the fact that the inept Raptors are giving away a 1st rnd pick!!!! Why do they have to in the first place, when my Bucks were in purgatory a couple years back they still used the guys until their contracts were up as long as they were contributing usefully. Everytime Rose was allowed to start or play big minutes for Tor he had good games and it seems like they never wanted him from the get go. Too fucking bad tor for having a lousy GM now you pay for it because Rose has never been bad for Tor accept fot FG% at times. The only time that he has bee a jag off is when he was benched last year and this year when rightfully he should have been starting over some of the scum in TOr.

A late first round pick that will probably never amount to anything (especially considering it is a incredibly weak draft) or 17 million dollars in cap space which could be used to sign an actual good player? That is basically what the Raptors did. And you think that's a bad move by the Raptors GM? Look at the big picture.. And when did anybody say Jalen Rose hasn't been good for the Raptors? He was one of my favourite players in the time that he was here, and was productive in his first 2 seasons (and at times, this season). The Raptors will certainly lose more games this year without him, then they would have if they still had him.

I actually think its a Miami 2nd rounder for the 2006 version. We get a 2009 New orleans 2nd rounder. Which means that the first round pick is in the same place in its respective round as the 2nd, so about 30 or so teams away.

This was a great trade for The Raps. I don't know what Squeezy is talking about. Threre trading a late 1st round pick to keep Mike James, Chris Bosh, and another 4 million dollar free agent
GOOD TRADE

I thought u meant the difference in the 2 draft picks, the #1 we gave up and the NO one we received were close together. my bad.

All I have to say about mid-late rd. picks , Danny Granger ;D Players drop,if you have smart management.

The guy has better stats than Bosh in his rookie season playing about 10 less minutes than him.

CharlieV led the rookies today in both points and rebounding, if it wasn't for them being on the losing end, he would have been MVP.
He looks like a pretty good long term player to me.
