These guys have to be at the top of list right now in everyone's eyes. They have played without one of their superstars like in the case of Nash,Marion and Wade.A guy has had to carry his club every night stats- wise but maybe not always get the big W. like in the case of Kobe,A.I. and Lebron.Players like Arenas & Parker have emerged with big superstar type #'s for their team getting wins as well in part.Bosh wishes his team had got a few more wins earlier in the yr. then he would be right up near the top of this list.K.G. ,Duncan and Dirk are always mentioned as they are here yet again.Certain injuries to the Oneal's have hurt their chances dramactically and will need a monsterous second half to be even considered. The trio in N.J. share the wealth so it hurts them there. You ask why no Carmelo,Pierce,Billups,Bibby and others???I say isn't that enough by now? NOTE: *Stats as of 1/19/06 and poll will be closed sometime around All-Star break if I remember*

I definitly like Nash as the Suns have done an awesome job this season without Amare and a lot of people thought that they wouldn't be the same team this year after trading Joe Johnson and Q-Rich but I think that the way that Nash plays makes it easier for the other guys around him to preform at a higher level... Nash is one Canadian that doesn't suck in my book...

A.I.... carrying his team day in and day out... he has no one around him and continues to produce big numbers and be the M.V.P. because he MEANS the most to any of his team's successes... Nash has Marion, Marion has Nash.. so they are out.... Wade has a plethera of other players around him, along with an injured Shaq, who even injured is better than 85% of all the players out there... James you could make a case for, but he still has Donyell Marshall, an injured Hughes around him, and add the Big Z and he is now out too... Brand, you could definetely make a good case for, as would you with Kobe because of Kobe's pure brillance. My vote still goes to AI just out of a lack of anything or anyone around him...

I was leaning towards Brand, but I realized that without Nash the Suns are lost..
Cassell has really been a big piece of puzzle in LA, which has put them over .500, but that's all they are, over .500.

My vote is Nash right now.I would not argue with Brand or even Kobe if someone made a valid case for one of them.

ITS KOBE ALL THE WAY,THE ONLY OTHER PERSON THAT HAS A CHANCE IS NASH,AND COME ON BEN WALLACE THIS ISNT THE DEFENCE PLAYER AWARD ITS THE MVP AND ITS COMING BAK TO L.A The pistons are the best team in the league by 2.5 games. and best team in the east by 10.5 freakin games. I mean it cant be because of rip hamilton and his 20 ppg and no other stats, it cant be chauncy billups and his sam cassel type numbers. Rasheed is just way too inconsistant, So that leaves Ben Wallace. And his 7000+ career rebounds and 1500+ career blocks he surpassed the other day. If you want the most consistant player in the damn game you go for Ben Wallace, i mean just look at his stats, you know what your gettin every year. Ill leave his rankins among Centers in parenthesis. 1st Offensive Boards (1) 5th Defensive Boards (2) 1st Rebounds per game (1) 17th Steals (1) 7th Blocks (4) Top 30 FG% (Top 13) 2nd Steals per Turnover (1) Ben Wallace MVP 2006
