www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060705/SPORTS04/60705025/1004/SPORTSIt's been a sad start to the summer for me.Luongo now Croshere dealt I hope Croshere goes in there, plays well and wins himself a Championship after all this crap that has gone down in Indy.Pacers free up space(other ways they could have done this but this makes sense since he's suppose to be making 9$ mil. this upcoming season) .Cro you will be missed and one of the few current Pacers player with a level head and you brought the hussle,3 ball and clutch shooting from the stripe.Pacers are going in the crapper, here comes Oden.Ugghhhh ugly year coming up

It's reported 7.2 mil. this season. Cro should add a lot to Dallas next season.I did not know their bench in Dallas was a main priority. Old bones Stack' goes down or not pleased with their panzy C's ,Cro will get his minutes

July 12, 2006 Subject: Austin Will Be Missed, But Trade A Good Move
Like it our not, the trade of Austin Croshere is good for both teams. Dallas gets a proven player in Austin. A class act who shows up and does the dirty work. A team leader. A guy all other players respect. He's better than Keith Van Horn who is a free agent. Dallas is overloaded at the guard position. Marquis will help expand what we need. I am sorry to see Austin go for much of what I just mentioned. I know the guys in the locker room will miss him. Do I also detect he was the leader and was looked up to more than Jermaine? Quite possible based on what I heard in player interviews on television. Dallas needs a guy like Austin. I'm glad he's going to another classy organization and not some team in turmoil. He may win a title there. Godspeed Austin. We will miss you. Good luck! Welcome Marquis! You will love it here.
- Erin in Pershing, Ind. I always felt that Austin was under rated. He always came to play and gave it his all when he was on the floor. Austin was reliable and was ready to play when he got off the bench. He'll always be one of my favorites and there will be many memories of the last nine seasons. He's a veteran. I hope the rest of the team heeds the advice he gave them at the "team meeting" last season. Best wishes to you Austin, you will be missed.
- Melanie in Spencer, Ind.

Im sorry Pride but no one in this league has any interest what so ever in Cro so this is pointless unless you enjoy reading your own posts...

Cro sucks balls.... this is the best move ive seen indiana do in YEARS This coming from a Celtic fan.You should suck on Zeek the Geek's balls for benching Cro/Bender in the second half(they were two top scorers,f*ck Isiah!) a few yrs. back or you would have lost that game and the series as well to us...like you often do anyways

no kidding raps, its like for a decade in the 90s when the Cowboys were good the Packers always had to go to Dallas to play them and they always got trounced! Finally they got them at Lambeau Field and I believe the Pack crushed them 44-7.

Cro on the court/bench tonight in Dallas opener was tough to get used to.He played well from what I saw.He will be a key contributor to that club.Avery needs to sit Stack/Diop in need of Cro's outside shooting/scoring/rebounding.

That picture says it all. Maybe coach Avery has learned his lesson;to play Cro more. It's only the end of Jan. BUT... With Dirk and CO. jacking up shots (usually making them too), he has a hard time cracking that F. unit. Even I will admit that. p.s. He's there for playoff crunch time anyways, clutchhhhhh

Cro 9 pts. 6 reb. and 2 ast. on 4-6 shooting in only 16 mins. vs. Raps in a win. Just coming back from an injury too. This guy is a pro's pro ,now playing for another new team ( Warriors) ; fits in right away. He must really suck now eh' guys

Definately worth the 12th OA pick and 9 wasted years he spent on the Pacers. Wasted? Ya made the playoffs I believe each of his seasons in Pacerland. Ya he's a real "loser" unlike those Raptors.

I mean his production. 9 seasons of horrible production. The Pacers did not make the playoffs because of him of course. I also believe the Raptors whooped the Pacers a few days ago. 1. I forgot to tape the Pacers game;that's why they lost (yes I said tape) 11. Cro won some playoff games on his own against the Nets and Pistons + not to mention his magical 2000 playoffs where Shaq documents in his autobiography " that guy is tough,he's a fundamental cat". Also...Cro put the dagger in the Raps today...had to watch the Raps in an Hour on Raptors TV. just to see that clutch three pointer
